Scope This Privacy Policy covers HETI’s treatment of personally identifiable information that may ever be collected through information you provide to us through our website. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that HETI does not own or control, or to individuals that HETI does not employ or manage, including but not limited to operators of sites to which you may link from the HETI web site. This policy also does not apply to any offline collection of personally identifiable information or the treatment of the same when such information is collected outside of the HETI site. HETI only collects information from our visitors on a voluntary basis when you choose to share information with us, including but not limited to signing up for online or live trainings, adding an e-mail address to our e-mail newsletter service, or when you request more information about or purchase products made available via our website by phone, e-mail or otherwise. We do NOT require any of this information to gain access to our website. This site is hosted by Yahoo!. Yahoo! automatically collects information but may only use this information in the aggregate. Please see the Yahoo! Privacy Policy for more information about how Yahoo! uses this information. Yahoo also collects information related to statistics for page hits, and also provides our services for search engines. Use of Your Personally Identifiable Information In the event that we ever do have personal information that you submit through our website, we will only collect information to the extent necessary to serve our legitimate business purposes. More specifically, we may send you: Notifications Those on our list may receive notification of new trainings as they are made available. Announcements of news, discounts, or “e-coupons” Those on our list may get announcements of news regarding HETI and its products and trainings. Those on our list may elect to not receive any further emails from HETI. Those individuals that choose not receive further email will have an option to opt-out by using the “Option to remove from list” statement within the email they receive. Every email will have a link at the bottom, giving a member the chance to opt-out of that email list. Sharing of Information as Required by Law If we receive a legal subpoena or court order for any information you provide in the context of this website, we would of course have to honor the law in this regard.
