Take a quiz with questions to review the material you've learned
Finally join an online discussion forum where you can answer posted question and read and respond with your classmates
The main text for Motivational Interviewing is Motivational Interviewing: Helping People Change by William R. Miller and Stephen Rollnick. While it is not required reading for this online course, we enthusiastically recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about Motivational Interviewing.

Where do I find the course and the materials?
On the first date of the course, you will receive an email with an introduction and a link to the course, where you'll find everything you need!
How many hours per week will I need to devote to this training, and when will I need to be online?
The training is designed to require about two to three hours of your time per week. You have the entire week to complete the week's tasks, on your own time and fitting in with your own schedule. There is no specific time that you need to be online for any particular section of the training.
