Engage and practice with others to enhance your Motivational Interviewing spirit and skills.
Enjoy a supportive network with others who face similar professional challenges in learning a discipline practice of care.
Discuss your interactions with clients/patients who struggle with health or mental health problems, criminal justice issues, or substance use/misuse.
Benefit from interactions with others who share your language, basis of understanding, and sensitivity to core issues related to work.
This group will utilize Zoom Video Teleconferencing technology to connect a small group of practitioners to share issues arising in their own work, participate in real plays and group exercises, develop and pursue Motivational Interviewing improvement goals, and receive supportive feedback about their Motivational Interviewing work.
Kelley Barton Newkirk, an experienced Motivational Interviewing Trainer and member of MINT (Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers) will facilitate.
Please feel free to drop in as often as you wish when it fits your schedule.
This group has a sliding-scale fee of $20-$35 per session. If this would be a burden, please contact us so that we can work out a way to get you support and camaraderie in your practice.
