Janice lives in Ottawa, Canada. A retired speech language pathologist with 30 years of experience working in the not-for-profit sector with families, mentoring allied health staff and students, researching and writing. Janice is a skilled, collaborative presenter and delivers MI training to a broad range of fields. Janice brings a respectful, attuned listening style to all her interactions. In 2021 Janice completed the intensive MITI coding course with Denise Ernst, enhancing her ability to code MI conversations to best support anyone in their MI journey. Janice operates from a strength-based lens and is an advocate of growth mindset. Janice became a member of MINT in 2023 in beautiful Copenhagen.
