Self-Directed Motivational Interviewing Courses
Many people prefer a more independent, self-directed mode of learning. We have developed two, with more on on the way, courses to address this need.
Introductory Motivational Interviewing is our long-standing course which over two thousand people have taken over the past few years.

Intermediate Motivational Interviewing is the new kid on the block.
The main text for Motivational Interviewing is Motivational Interviewing: Helping People Change by William R. Miller and Stephen Rollnick. While it is not required reading for either self-directed course, we enthusiastically recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about Motivational Interviewing.

Where do I find the course and the materials? On the first date of the course, you will receive an email with an introduction and a link to the course, where you'll find everything you need!

How many hours per week will I need to devote to this training, and when will I need to be online?"The training is designed to require about two to three hours of your time per week. You have the entire week to complete the week's tasks, on your own time and fitting in with your own schedule. There is no specific time that you need to be online for any particular section of the training.

Which browser do I need to use?Internet Explorer 10 and above, as well as the two latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari are all supported.
